When to Order
Typically, designers require fourto six months to produce a special order wedding gown. Often arrangements can be made to fulfill your order in as little as six weeks, if required. Additional charges will apply. The Something Blue Shoppe is considered a Platinum Account by the manufacturers and designers we work with. We are as high a priority to them as you are to us. We will work hard for you. Never hesitate to give us a call and ask about rush orders. There are times when the exact dress you want will be on the current cutting schedule of a designer and they can easily add another dress on. We try to never say no. We prefer to say, “No Problem”!
CHINESE NEW YEAR BEGINS JANUARY 22, 2012 AND LASTS FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 - 4 WEEKS

Alterations are by appointment only. Please contact Joelle at email@example.com or phone her at 256.773.4956 to schedule your fitting appointment with our seamstress.
Appointments can only be scheduled after you have been notified that your gown/bridesmaid dress has arrived.
We recommend starting alterations no less than 4 – 6 weeks prior to your wedding date or the date of your formal portrait. Of course if you have less time, don’t worry. We are here to accommodate you and make this a most wonderful experience.
You will need shoes for your fittings. You may find the shoes you love in our Shoe corner. Shop early for the best selection!
We also sell undergarments. Our seamstress is the best qualified to fit you for the perfect undergarment for your gown at the time of your appointment with her. If you prefer to bring your own, please do so.
You usually only need 1 fitting to perfect the gown. An appointment is not necessary to try on your gown following alteration. You may come at your convenience anytime after your given completion date. It will not be pressed after alteration.
You should schedule an appointment with a consultant for the pressing of your gown and it should be picked up between the hours of 10:00 and 4:30 on the scheduled day.
